On May 13th I flew to Hamburg to pick up my beautiful little girl. I was picked up at the airport by her breeder Rahel. We then went to visit Heidi's dad Zodiak V Lowengarten. He is a wonderful big beautiful boy with an amazing temperment From there we went to Rahel's home. What a charming place a wonderful home and it even has a thatched roof
I finally was able to meet Heidi! She was even more beautiful in person. I fell in love right away!! I had such an experience meeting all 12 of the dogs at the house. Lucky me I met Heidi's mom and both her grandmothers. I was also able to meet her grandfather.
Tuesday morning came way to fast. We got up and fed the dogs and gathered all heidi's things and left for the 2 hour trip to the airport.
The airport personal really treated her and I so well. When we arrived in Toronto Heidi came out of her crate and gave me a big kiss. She was not upset at all in fact she pranced right out of the airport making sure everyone noticed her.
When we arrived home she did take a second look at the Alpacas. They also gave her a second look!
We let the dogs out to meet her and all 3 gave her a sniff and a hello but were more interested in telling me I was gone to long.
We already cannot remember what it was like with out her. She is perfect :-) Watch for lots of pictures of her growing up.
